Humans of FHC: Olivia Parent
“I’m involved in drumline and in band. [The last drumline season] was interesting because we had a lot of people who were really good last season, and this season we had some incoming freshmen, so we kind of had to downsize, but it worked well in the end. It was kind of sad because I won’t be able to do it anymore, and it’s the last time because I’m not going to do it in college. You’re losing that friend aspect; it’s like the end of an era. You make a lot of friends [in band], and it’s kind of a family. It’s a new experience; you get to learn some things from it. Through music, you can learn life lessons.”
