“[On the softball team,] it’s really cool to see the upperclassmen and how they work with each other as a team. They’re pretty much coaches too, like the seniors. Also, I really like being on a high school softball team, or a school softball team, because last year we didn’t have that at the middle school. I like being able to play for my school. Molly Donovan, Maizey Szcepanek, and pretty much all the seniors [are role models]; they’re all really fun. They mess around a bunch and have a good time with each other, but when the game actually starts, then they’re focused, on target, and there to win and get better. So they’re just good people to follow.”
