Girls JV field hockey drops tough game against Dexter
This past Thursday, the girls JV White field hockey team embarked on its second game of the season against Dexter. Coming off of a mighty 5-0 win against Ann Arbor Huron, the team had high hopes coming into this match.
The first half did not go as planned for the team; they gave up 4 goals before halftime. Fortunately, its defense improved throughout the second half by not giving up any more goals. Ultimately, the Rangers were not able to score either, and the game ended in a 4-0 loss for the Forest Hills team, which is its first defeat on the season.
Now at 2-1, the JV White team looks to return to the earlier success in the team’s next match. The JV Purple team, who is 1-1 this year, will take on Novi at home on September 5th for the next girls JV field hockey game.
