How did you get into this sport?

“I got into it in seventh grade through friends. A lot of my friends were trying out and I thought it would be a great way to spend time with them and make new friends. It was almost everyone’s first year playing so I thought it would be a great time to start. I ended up falling in love with the sport and with the people.”

What is your favorite part of the sport?

“My favorite part is the environment and teamwork. It’s impossible to play without teamwork and having a connection with every single girl on the team. To win we are forced to be close-knit and work as one, and I love that feeling of belonging.”

What are your goals/team goals for this season?

“My goals for myself are to speed up my pace during games and to pin down certain sets. Our goals for the team are to have another undefeated season just like last year, and also to communicate more and keep playing at our highest possible level.”
