The girls JV volleyball team goes 2-0 against Cedar Springs at home
On Tuesday, September 17th the girls JV volleyball team faced off against Cedar Springs on FHC’s home court. They won the first two games quickly, so they did not have to play to three. Last night was a good showcase of the team’s improvement, and the girls are striving to continue getting better and better.
In the first game, they beat Cedar Springs by a large margin of 25-10. The girls made sure to come out strong and quickly get the hopes of the opposing team down. They also won the second match 25-23, although this one was much closer. They had a harder time putting this game away, but they got it done in the end. Sophomore Abby Berlin impressed and was very aggressive, making sure to adjust to the ball when hitting. Overall, the team was very calm during the games and played consistently throughout.
Next up for the girls is on Thursday, September 19th when they play Forest Hills Northern at home at 5:00 PM.
