JV Volleyball gets two great wins against Ottawa Hills

Sophomore Lilly Harsevoort led the FHC JV Volleyball team to two wins last night against Ottawa Hills. Lilly did a great job at staying consistent in the middle and keeping the team calm throughout the matches. The girls did a great job at getting two strong wins, making sure to completely shut down their opponents.

The girls won the first match by an outstanding score of 25-4. They came into the match prepared and hungry for a win. Freshman Averie Zaschak did very well with serving in the game. She went on a long-serving run, which gained multiple points for her team. Sophomore Sammie Wing also did well in this game with being a leader in some of the important plays. In the second match, the Rangers won 25-3, making sure to put away the game with only two matches. Sophomore Kelsey Dantuma did a great job at setting the block and staying low on-off blocker defense. The girls played very well and used this night to perfect their play.

With these two outstanding wins, the girls are motivated to play in their next games. The next event for them is on Tuesday, October 1st at 5:00 PM at Northview High School.
