FHC JV Volleyball team beats Greenville in two sets
The Rangers faced off against Greenville last night at home, defeating them in two sets. With this win, the JV team continues to be undefeated in the conference. They are beating the majority of their opponents by large margins and making sure their execution of point-scoring is almost perfect.
In the first set, the girls won 25-9. FHC gained points very quickly and didn’t let up on their opponents. Overall the whole team did very well with keeping their play at a high level. Sophomores Lilly Harsevoort and Gabby Partlo provided a solid block and ran a quick offense for the team in the middle of the court. In the second set, they beat the Yellow Jackets 25-12, continuing with being consistent on both defense and offense. Sophomore Kylee Murawski was consistent in her role as a primary passer, making sure to not let her teammates down.
Head Coach Natalie Roelfzema is very satisfied with how the girls have been playing, “This team continues to play with a calm and collective demeanor which allows us to be effective with serve receive passing and provides our setter with the option to run effective plays.”
The next event for the Rangers is on Thursday, October 10th at 5:00 PM at Mona Shores High School.
