Boys JV Basketball beats Cedar Springs by a landslide 76-15
Last night, the boys JV Basketball team took on the Cedar Springs Red Hawks. The boys started off like a firecracker and took a 25-0 lead at the end of the first quarter; they never even gave their opponent a chance. The boys ended up defeating the Yellow Jackets by a large margin of 76-15.
Jacob Bonnett got the team off to a great start by sinking a few threes early in the first quarter, and these points really set the tone for the game. The boys all played very well together and focused on teamwork. Going into the game, the team knew that the opponent may not be able to play at the boys’ level, but that didn’t stop them from playing to their best potential. In the fourth quarter, Jack McNamara played very well with active rebounding and passing.
The next game for the boys is on Thursday, January 16th at home at 5:30 against Lowell. They go into this game with a 5-1 with an eye on a 6-1 record heading into next week’s games against Ottawa Hills and Forest Hills Northern.
