How did you develop a passion for basketball?
“My passion for basketball first developed in 8th grade when I played for an AAU team named ASA Prime. The coaches of that program really instilled a love for the game and gave me something to look forward to every weekend when game time came around.”
What is your favorite part of the sport?
“My favorite part about basketball is definitely when we have momentum on both the offensive and defensive ends. Everyone is just in such a good mood and it’s more fun to be engaged in the game.”
How did you get into basketball?
“I got into basketball when my friends all started playing on travel teams but didn’t start playing competitively until sixth grade.”
What are you most looking forward to this season?
“I’m most looking forward to the East Kentwood game, which is our second game this year. We have an opportunity to make history by being the first team to beat them in a while so I’m excited to see how we compete against them.”
What is your favorite part of the team?
“I love how our team has bonded so quickly. Everyone is friends with everyone and it just brings a different type of energy to practice. It’s definitely something to look forward to every day.”
