Boys JV Basketball was sadly defeated by Wyoming 79-69
Sophomore Jacob Bonnett did an amazing job last night, leading the FHC boys JV Basketball team in a hard fight against Wyoming. Coming into this week. The boys knew Wyoming would be a difficult opponent, but they were prepared to come out strong. The Rangers played well but they ultimately lost to the Wolves 79-69.
Jacob had an outstanding game, scoring 30 points and creating many momentum-swinging plays. His energy was great for the team and made sure that they kept their heads up the whole time. Sophomore Ben Scholler also did well, scoring 17 points, helping the team out greatly. Late in the game, Joe Murdock had an uplifting and one that kept the boys playing hard.
“I thought we played about as well as we have all year for certain stretches, but then had too many lapses on defense and couldn’t pull away,” Head coach Jordan George said.
The next game for the boys is on Thursday, February 6th at 5:30 PM against Greenville at home.
