Boys JV Basketball easily defeats the Greenville Yellow Jackets 88-19
Sophomore Conner Milton led the boys JV Basketball team in their game against Greenville last Thursday. The boys were motivated and pumped up due to the fact that last week was Winterfest week, and they wanted to show well for their school. The boys ended up beating the Yellow Jackets by a large margin of 88-19.
In this game, the boys played the hardest that they have played all season and were prepared to take their opponent down. The Rangers knew that this team would not be as good as they are, but they still played their best and beat them with ease. Conner scored 15 points in the first half, which consisted of two ridiculous dunks that gave his team the momentum they needed.
“We showed great intensity on offense and defense,” head coach Jordan George said. “Our zone press was the difference, and it allowed us to jump out to a big lead.”
The next game for the boys is on Tuesday, February 11th at 5:30 PM against Cedar Springs at home.
