Boys JV Basketball gets an easy win over Cedar Springs 72-29
Sophomore Maxime Larmande did extremely well last night in the boys JV basketball game against Cedar Springs; he led the boys in a fast-paced game against the Red Hawks, achieving the victory at the end of the night with a score of 72-29. The boys have been doing well all season and continue to take down one opponent at a time.
In this game, Maxime hit his career-high of 22 points, playing aggressively on offense throughout. He shot efficiently from the three-point line as one of the team’s best shooters and contributed well to the offensive side of the game. Last night was also a great shooting night for the whole team; many guys hit threes and did well with putting away the easy buckets. Sophomore Matthew Mittlestadt also played very well on defense, having a stretch of three great steals and bringing a lot of energy off of the bench.
“The game went really well,” head coach Jordan George said. “We started fast and were able to build some momentum as the game went on. We made a ton of threes compared to how we’ve been shooting lately, which is really encouraging.”
Next up for the boys is Lowell on Thursday, February 13th at 5:30 PM at Lowell High School.
