I adore everything fall: the weather, the clothes, the decorations, the falling leaves, and most of all, the food. Fall means pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin donuts, pumpkin chais, and new pumpkin treats from Trader Joe’s.
Trader Joe’s is known for their focus on sustainability and their outstanding customer service, but I know them for their innovative fall products that make the season so much better.
Pumpkin Flavored Joe-Joe’s
If you know me, you know I have a sweet tooth. But I don’t like candy too much, so cookies are my go-to. These Joe-Joe’s are the perfect fall cookie. It’s a pumpkin-flavored sandwich cookie with a pumpkin cream filling. The cookie and its cream have great flavor. They complement each other very well, and there is a nice ratio of cookie to cream. These cookies are a buy.
Pumpkin Spiced Joe-Joe’s
In the winter, one of my favorite things to eat is the Peppermint Joe-Joe’s. So I, of course, had to try the Pumpkin Spiced Joe-Joe’s for fall. These are the traditional Pumpkin Joe-Joe’s that are then dipped in a Pumpkin Spice flavor yogurt coating. These cookies are the perfect fall treat. The pumpkin flavor comes through nicely, and there is the perfect mix of cookie and coating. My only grievance with this cookie is that the cream filling was not soft and smooth but rather crumbly. Despite this, I adore these cookies: buy.
Petite Pumpkin Spiced Cookies
I love all things miniature—it just makes them so much cuter. So when I saw these petite cookies, I had to get them. They are pumpkin-spiced cookies covered in yogurt coating and topped with sprinkles. They have a lot of flavor for such a little cookie. The pumpkin really comes through, but it’s not too overpowering. The yogurt coating adds a bit of a different flavor to go with the cookie that I can’t quite put my finger on, but it works really well. The one downside to these cookies is that they are very sweet; I can eat a few in one sitting, but I have to take a break from the sweetness. However, these are the perfect little pick-me-up treat, and, for me, will always be a buy.
Pumpkin Spiced Teeny Tiny Pretzels
Similar to the Petite Pumpkin Cookies, these pretzels are itty bitty. That just automatically gives them bonus points in my book. These pretzels are coated in yogurt and have pumpkin seeds on top of them. I love chocolate-covered pretzels, so I was immediately excited to try these pumpkin ones. I like that they’re small, so I can eat a lot of them. The pretzels aren’t fully covered in the yogurt, which makes sure that the saltiness of the pretzel and the sweetness of the yogurt can both be tasted. This contrast is nice because it is the perfect sweet and salty combo. My only complaint about these pretzels is that the bag is not completely full, so I feel like I’m losing out on some pretzels. Otherwise, these treats are perfect, and I could eat the whole bag in one sitting. These pretzels are definitely a buy.
Pumpkin Blondie Brownies
I am not a fan of chocolate, so blondies are the perfect treat for me. They are similar to brownies in shape and texture; however, there is no cocoa powder in them. These pumpkin blondies are very moist, which is something that I definitely need if I’m going to eat one. The pumpkin flavor is very prominent, but the pecans are as well, and I am not a fan of that. I don’t like nuts, so the pecans lowered my rating of the blondies. However, the chocolate chips made up for it; I only wish there were more of those to replace the pecans. Otherwise, this soft, chewy treat very much has fall vibes and is a buy.
Trader Joe’s is a great store to go to if you want good quality items that are budget-friendly, and fall items are no exception to that. All of the items I tried were a buy, so make sure to stop by Trader Joe’s if you are looking for a tasty fall treat.
