How long have you been diving?

“This is my sixth year diving.”

Why do you dive?

“I dive because it is fun and I really enjoy the skill and technique it takes to be able to compete in something as cool as diving.”

What has been your biggest inspiration in your diving career?

“One of my biggest motivators are my teammates. Not only do they push me to do my best, but they also build competition between us that helps me become better as a diver.”

What is your personal goal for this season?

“My personal goal for the season is to make it to regionals and hopefully states. In order to achieve these I will need to push myself everyday to get better and will need to work hard at mastering the mental aspect of diving.”

What are some team goals for this season?

“As a team we hope to keep our legacy of winning [the] conference going, and move up in our state rankings.”

What is the best part about being on the boys swim and dive team?

“I have always enjoyed being a part of this team. We are like a big family, in both times of happy and sad [the team] will be there for you.”

What is a quote that inspires you?

“”Diving is 50% mental, 40% physical, and 10% funa�� -Alex Oddo. He is my dive coach and this was one of the first things he said to me, and he still will say it when I am attempting a hard dive.”
