“This year at band camp, I was taught about Sandi. Apparently, he is some sort of trumpet legend, according to all the members of the trumpet section. Since I was a freshman, I had no idea who he was — all my other freshman friends, including myself, thought that it was really weird that this Sandi guy is supposedly a trumpet god; there was a chant about Sandi and everything. Anyway, the farther into band camp I got, the less weird I thought it was. At the band camp talent show, the trumpet section performed a baptism where all the trumpet freshman that wanted to participate got blessed by Sandi.”
