“A lot of things pushed me to try out for the musical. I tried out before, and I didn’t make it. I kind of knew I wasn’t going to make it– the last time I tried out it was for The Little Mermaid, and so many people tried out, so I wasn’t really expecting much from that. This year, I really wanted to try something new. It’s my senior year, and I knew I wouldn’t get a chance to be in a musical setting ever again. So I thought, ‘I’m just going to do it.’ I’m excited to get to know the cast better. I’m not that close to anybody, so I’m really excited to get to know them; they all seem so funny and nice.”
