“I feel like [senior year] has been a lot more work than I anticipated and a lot more work than the grade before us had alluded there to be. I don’t know if it’s because I decided to royally mess myself up and take two AP classes, or if it’s just because this year is different. Every senior year is different; every senior year experience is unique. I just had some trouble finding the joy in [the fact that] this is my senior year, and I don’t have to do anything. I could come to school in my pajamas and sleep on the floor. Do I come to school and sleep on the floor? Yes, but I’m dressed, and it’s after I do a bunch of work, and I’m only sleeping because I didn’t go to bed till four in the morning.”
