Jv volleyball falls to the Huskies in the third set
JV volleyball faced Forest Hills Northern in Tuesday’s head-to-head meet. FHC started off strong but had trouble continuing the momentum in the rest of the sets. The Rangers ultimately fell to the Huskies in the third set.
FHC started the game off strong, dominating in the first set. Freshman Remmie Ingraham and sophomore Delaney Tucker created an unstoppable pair. Delaney set for Remmie, whose spikes were unreturnable in the first set. The Rangers had a slow start in the second set and dug themselves in a deep point deficit. They almost caught up in the end but couldn’t make up for the slow start and lost the second set 25-23. In the third set both the Huskies and FHC were going back and forth, but in the end, the Rangers lost 15-13.
After a tough match, the girls look to come back in the following games later in the season. This puts the Rangers’ OK White conference record at 0-1. FHC will be facing off against the Northview Wildcats on Thursday with hopes of redemption.
