Varsity hockey takes 7-2 win over Reeths-Puffer
A two-goal night from junior Hayden Sarjeant led to offensive charge last night for the varsity hockey team. FHC came out firing against Reeths-Puffer in their first game of this stretch of away games. After an impressive outing, the final score fell at 7-2 in favor of the Rangers.
Hayden, who was the only multi-goal scorer, was helped by fellow juniors Peter Bardelli and Cole Beaufait, who each put in one goal. Sophomore duo Jacob Campbell and Mason Kelly both also put points on the board for FHC. For Mason, this was his first goal of the season so far. Completing the scoring for the Rangers was senior Nathan Hartline.
With yet another win under their belt, the boys’ record stands at 5-1. The upcoming ice hockey games will be against Farmington and Southgate Anderson this weekend on the road.
