How long have you been swimming?

“I’ve been swimming since I was in Kindergarten, so 11 years.”

Why do you swim?

“I swim because it’s a really good time, and I enjoy the competition the sport brings.”

Who has been the biggest inspiration in your swimming career?

“My biggest inspiration would be my family and my team because I love competing with the guys. My parents and my team push me to do my best all the time.”

What is your personal goal for this season? 

“My personal goal for this season is to get two State cuts. I think hard work, lifting, and showing up to every practice will help me achieve this goal.”

What is the best part of swimming?

“The best part about swimming would be the team and being around the guys.”

Talk a little about your time being a part of the FHC swim and dive team, this year and previous years.

“It’s been great; we have a great team atmosphere. Everybody’s really inclusive, and the veterans help guide the rookies on the team. Overall, our team is truly united.”
