Humans of FHC: Ally Francisco

“We do volunteering every year. We adopt a family, and we buy different Christmas gifts for them. Sometimes, we do it through our church, but other times, we do it through organizations that my dad finds online. This year, we have a family with little kids, and one of them likes soccer, so we’re buying different soccer equipment and stuff.”

“[Freshman year], I made blankets for cancer patients through my mom’s hospital. My mom works at Spectrum now, but she used to work at a different hospital. I wanted to make a small difference there. I was just thinking about others and wondering how I could make a small difference, so the idea was to [make a difference] one blanket at a time.”
