Humans of FHC: Katherine Bell
“I have a lot of pets; ever since I was born, we’ve never had less than five cats in our household, so I’ve always been around animals. It’s really crazy, but it’s nothing that I would change. Animals are just so amazing; you can talk to them, and they will listen. Even though they don’t know what you’re saying, it doesn’t really matter. I’ve never thought about changing the world, but if I did it would be [changing] animal cruelty. It’s not as prominent in the United States, but in other countries, animals aren’t treated with as much respect. It’s something that really bothers me. I want to be a veterinarian, so I’m very passionate about animals being safe and animal safety in general. It’s definitely something that’s important to me.”
