Isaiah Huempfner lead boys varsity golf to a second place finish in Jamboree
Junior captain Isaiah Huempfner led the boys varsity golf team to a second place spot in the Cedar Chase.
This was a short Jamboree for the Rangers, but it brought some new players up to the leaderboard, including sophomore Cam David. Cam has been shooting decently throughout the season but had the second lowest score on the team, adding some crucial points to FHC. Isaiah led the team, shooting a 39 and proving his worth as captain. He has been the leader for all of the matches and will come up big in some of the more well-known tournaments coming up. Just behind, were seniors Braden Lubben and Justin Turner who both shot a 43 and kept the scores low for the Rangers.
The Rangers continue to be a dominant team in some of these Jamborees and have a few tough upcoming matches. Their next is a Jamboree at Lowell Deer Run on Wednesday, May 8.
