Varsity Softball takes a hard loss against Lowell 14-3
Last night the Lady Rangers faced off against Lowell in their last game of the series. FHC and Lowell each won one game and whoever won this game would take a lead in the OK White Conference. Unfortunately, the Rangers lost the game 14-3.
Due to an early lead from the Red Arrows, the Rangers could not catch up in the end. Sophomore Kylie Halverson and senior Tori Macleod each had an RBI and senior Molly Donovan led the team in hits with two singles. Junior Maizey Szczepanek, senior Lauren Mittelstadt, senior Hailey Enbody, and Kylie all had one single each. The Rangers struggled to get on base and that ultimately led them to the loss. Tori pitched for the first one and a half innings and she allowed 8 runs while sophomore Faith Addington allowed 5 runs.
This loss puts the Rangers OK White Conference record at 9-3 and their overall record at 10-7. The Rangers hope to have more success in their game against Mona Shores tomorrow at home.
