Boys varsity golf places second in Ottawa Hills Jamboree
On Monday, the boys varsity golf team finished second at the Ottawa Hills Jamboree with a final score of 149.
Leading the Rangers for the day was senior Justin Turner and sophomore Cam David, both shooting a 36. This was a big day, as these two shot one of their lowest scores of the season and gave FHC a huge advantage over its opponents. Freshman Joe Murdock also had a phenomenal day, shooting a 38. He has been amazing all season and proved his worth as an underclassman. Juniors John Corey and Isaiah Huempfner shot a 39 and 41, respectively, and held those last few spots for the Rangers. The sixth scorer for the day was senior Bradey Hamill, who finished with a 43.
This was another big Jamboree win for the Rangers as they come to the end of the season. Their next match is a Jamboree at Greenville against some of the areas best teams.
