JV football preview: Jenison Wildcats

The JV Football team is coming off a hot summer of workouts and conditioning and is looking ready for the upcoming season. They have been working with the varsity guys for the past 2 months, along with a short workout with a handful of Navy Seals from the Acumen Performance Group. As week one has come upon the team, they face their first challenge: the Jenison Wildcats.

The Rangers are looking strong coming off of an intense summer and are even returning a few highly talented players. Sophomores Rhosias Arius and Parker Vredenberg are coming back to play this upcoming season and will be crucial to this game. Along with these two returning players, sophomores quarterback Hunter Robinson and running back Tyler Weaver will need to show some early aggression in this game in order to get through the fast-flowing defensive pressure of the Wildcats.

The Wildcats have an elite football program and will be ready for the Rangers. Their rigor-filled defense combined with a strong offensive presence gives Jenison a positive look on the upcoming game. The Rangers, however, also have that same mindset and will bring everything to this Wednesday night game. Head coach Ty Hallock and his staff have been pushing their boys for this very moment and are expecting a dog fight for their season opener at Jenison.
