Ian Kastner – Senior Vice President
Name: Ian Kastner
Current Grade: 11th
Running For: Senior Vice President
Q: Why are you running for this position?
A: I am running because I am tired of losing every competition, and I feel that our class has more potential to be great than what we display on a regular basis.
Q: Did you run for anything in previous years?
A: No.
Q: What impact would you like to have on FHC?
A: I would like to bring the class of 2017 closer. I want us to have more camaraderie.
Q: What separates you from other candidates?
A: I am different because I care more about our class than making the council. I will try to bring us together regardless.
Q: What would you like to change the most?
A: I would like to change the stigma that if people cheer on the class and school, they are making a fool of themselves.
Q: What other things are you involved in at FHC?
I am involved in NHS and I am a president for the Interfaith Club that will return next year.
Q: What motivated you to run?
A: I was motivated by the continuous losses that were handed to us by the other grades in almost every challenge.
Q: What is the most valuable characteristic within yourself that will help you run?
A: I would say resiliency.
Q: What teacher has influenced you the most during high school?
A: It is close between a few teachers, but I would say Brad Anderson has been the most influential on my life.
