Varsity volleyball brings home another conference win against the Northview Wildcats

Last night, the varsity volleyball team traveled to Northview High School to take on the Wildcats in an intra-conference matchup. The Rangers were able to trample the Wildcats in the first three sets and dominated each one. 

The first set went to the Rangers easily with a 25-9 win. Junior Julia Bouma ended the first set with three digs from the Wildcats serves and one assist. Alongside her, junior Morghan Tilton had nine assists in the first set alone and seven sets to her teammates. The momentum from the first set carried into the second set for the Rangers as they won 25-20. Junior Tatum Otolski had a stellar attacking game in the second set, finishing with five kills and ten attacks. Tatum finished with three of the Rangers second set points, Morghan was also able to secure four points in this set.

Looking to finish the game off in three, the Rangers headed into the third set and finished off the Wildcats with a score of 25-18. Freshman Sarah Dunn had a stellar third set and finished with 13 points and 20 points total for the night. Morghan also made a big impact in the third set and finished with six assists in the third set alone. 

The varsity volleyball team remains undefeated in OK White conference play so far this season and will look to continue the streak this Thursday, October 5. They will be taking on the Lowell Red Arrows at home, and the game will begin at 6:00 PM.
