1. What is your act?
“My act is a duo with my friend Thomas Cobb. I will be playing the piano with the acoustic guitar as accompaniment. The song we are playing is Arms by Christina Perri.”
2. How did you prepare?
“I’ve been preparing with my voice/piano teacher at the Academy of Music. I try to practice after school for a good amount of time if I’m not busy.”
3. What made you audition with your act?
“The reason I auditioned with my act is for a few months I have been working on this specific song for a number of different things, so I have had lots of practice and felt comfortable playing it in front of my peers for the first time.”
4. Tell us the moment you were selected for RAT?
“The moment I was selected for the RAT I was a little… as a freshman I was not expecting to make it, but I was very happy and excited when I heard I got in.”
5. How do you feel about cilantro?
“I like cilantro, [but] don’t really know when I’ve had it.”
6. Money, power, or good looks: which would you rather have an unlimited supply of and
why?
“I would rather have unlimited power so I could change problems.”
7. Are you friends with the stage?
“Yes, I’m friends with the stage, but sometimes I don’t think it likes me back.”
