1. What is your act?
“I’m playing the guitar and my friend, Marissa, is playing the piano while she sings. We are performing ‘Arms’ by Christina Perri.”
2. How did you prepare?
“Me and her, we go to the same music studio and our instructor saw the match, and she said ‘you two should perform.” We’ve been rehearsing on and off since we’ve decided to do it.”
3. What made you audition with your act?
“Since we’ve been rehearsing under the radar, we thought it would be a good chance to take that next step out.”
4. Tell us the moment you were selected for RAT?
“I was nervous because I thought there was a lot of good competition there, and I was like, ‘Am I gonna make it? Am I not gonna make it?’ But when I saw the cast list, I was pretty happy because me and her have been working pretty hard at it.”
5. How do you feel about cilantro?
“I’m not drawn to it.”
6. Money, power, or good looks: which would you rather have an unlimited supply of and
why?
“Probably good looks. You can’t buy love you, you know?”
7. Are you friends with the stage?
“Since I was in second grade, I’ve been playing guitar, piano, and the viola for orchestra so that’s helped me get over any nerves.”
