Senior Alex Souza and freshman Peyton Price led the way for FHC Bowling on Wednesday night, but in the end, it isn’t wasn’t enough to hold off Lowell as they lost a tough match 18-12.
FHC came into this match fresh off of a great win against Ottawa Hills, and they looked to keep their winning ways up as they went to face Lowell on the road.
“[We] didn’t come out strong enough at the beginning,” head coach Grant Vermeer said. “[We] fought until the end but ended up losing the whole match by 18 pins in total.”
Along with Alex and Peyton having a career day, junior Tommy Payne and senior Ben Kastner had their respective performances.
“Hopefully, we will bounce back next match and come out with a revenge win against Greenville,” Vermeer said.
The Rangers will face Greenville in their next match on Monday, February 17th, at home at Eastbrook Lanes.
