Emma Cardin

Emma Cardin, Staff writer

Emma is entering her third year at FHC and her second year on staff. She plays soccer as well as water polo and is passionate about outdoor activities including, camping, hiking, and kayaking. She writes a little bit of everything. When high school is over she aspires to go to college to study sports medicine or journalism.

  • Favorite thing about being on staff: Getting to know the other staff members and learning from each other’s writing.
  • Favorite type of story: Editorials, I have strong opinions and enjoy expressing them.
  • Hobbies/Interest: Sports/ keeping fit, and camping.
  • Favorite book and why: The Book Thief – Markus Zusak. The book does a great job of showing the power words hold, and as a person who likes to write, I appreciate people who understand how powerful words can be.
  • It’s a Friday night, you will probably find Emma: Eating ice cream and watching movies with a few close friends. When she’s not eating she’s working out.
