Role: Volunteer your time at God’s Kitchen lunch service
Description: “A noontime hot meal is served daily at God’s Kitchen in the Heartside Neighborhood of Grand Rapids. Nourishment and meal-time respite are available to anyone who visits the dining room. Guests are welcomed on a walk-in basis with no questions and no qualifiers. Volunteers work together in regularly scheduled groups of up to 10 to assist in meal preparation, set-up, lunch service, and clean-up.”
This is a little bit similar to Kids Food Basket, but it’s another fun opportunity to make a difference. This is a volunteer opportunity for both individuals and groups.
