2017 Student Council Q&A – Hannah Kos

Name: Hannah Kos

Grade: Junior

1.) Why did you decide to run for board?

“I have been on stuco previously, and I think it’ll be good for me to step away from the class decisions and look at the student council as a whole.”

2.) What do you hope to accomplish if elected?

“Last year, I was highly involved in Family Promise, and I would love to make a bigger impact this year. I also look forward to helping in homecoming activities and hopefully doing even better next year than this year.

3.) If you could push for one change at FHC, what would it be?

“I would really love to see a change in the attitude towards FHC as a whole. Yes, it’s high school and nobody really wants to be here, but there are so many good qualities about this school, and I would love to gear the focus on those instead of the negative.”

4.) What extra-curricular activities are you involved in?

“Besides stuco, I am currently involved in rowing, The Central Trend, and I also work every day.”

5.) What traits do you think successful leaders possess?

“I think the most vital trait a leader can have is the ability to take themselves out of the shoes of a leader and relate themselves back to the people they are leading (in this case the student body) as a whole.”

6.) Anything else you would like to say to potential voters?
“As I am running uncontested, I would just like to say that I truly look forward to making my last year on stuco the best it can be.”
