Lady Rangers JV Volleyball place 5th at Hudsonville Tournament
This past Saturday, the Lady Rangers JV volleyball team went 2 – 2 in their tournament at Hudsonville. At first, The Rangers were very strong and spirited making them seemingly unstoppable. Sophomore Kaia McCuien was on fire with her attacks thanks to the help of freshman setter Morghan Tilton’s spot-on sets. Together, these girls helped score big for The Lady Rangers.
The girls won their first game against Portage Central, as well as winning their second game against Grand Rapids Christian. However, they did fall to West Ottawa and Lowell, Lowell being the hardest game that they played due to the high amounts of anticipation of winning the game.
The Lady Rangers are still proving themselves to be seemingly unstoppable in the OK White Conference. This past tournament only had one team from the conference in with the Rangers, that team would be Lowell. If the Rangers want to be the conference champs, they have got to increase their intensity in all the games they play, especially against Lowell.
