Boys Varsity Soccer beats Lowell 3-2 off last second goal
FHC vs Lowell soccer games are always close and this one lived up to the hype. The Rangers went into this game off of a 9-0 mercy over Grand Rapids Ottawa Hills, while Lowell was coming off a 2-1 loss to East Grand Rapids. FHC was looking to build off that mercy and that’s exactly what they did. Their offense had plenty of shots on goal in the first half. Sophomore Sammy Postlewait and Junior Kai Hagerdorn were able to put the ball into the back of the net.
Going forward into the second half Rangers and Red Arrows were all tied up 2-2, as Ian Abel found himself alone with the ball and scored with ten seconds left in the game to give the Rangers a huge win over Lowell.
Next up on the clock for the Rangers is the Greenville Yellow Jackets on September 14. This game will take place at FHC as they look to add another win to their record.
