Boys varsity beat Cedar Springs 6-0
It was a great night for the varsity soccer soccer team as they ended the regular season on a win, and stole the regular season conference championship. Last night they faced off against Cedar Springs, who they beat 7-0 last time they played. This game was about the same as the Rangers dominated the entire offensive side, getting almost every shot on goal. A wide variety of players got themselves a goal during the game, including Eric Conerty, Ryan Downey, Ian Abel, and Ryan Collins. Senior goalie Jared Ireland also added to the great night ending the game with two saves and shutout.
Now that the regular season is over, the Rangers are moving onto the first round of districts where their opponent is still to be determined. They ended the season with a record of 14-3-2. Heading into playoffs is huge for the Rangers. They have a ton of momentum right now, especially with the conference championship under their belt.
