Freshman volleyball sweeps Lowell 2-0
The Ranger volleyball team has bounced back from their opening-game loss and is now only one game away from a perfect record since then. The Lady Rangers beat the Lowell Red Arrows with a score of 2-0 Tuesday night. Cora Kelly continues to lead the team with her amazing hits.
The first set, the Rangers came out hot. The team played extremely well and everyone was firing on all cylinders, as they took the first set 25-16. The second set was a little closer, as Lowell played much better. In the end, the Rangers persevered and walked out winning 25-21 against their conference rival.
This win was extremely important for the team’s confidence heading into Thursday’s showdown with Ottawa Hills. This is the Lady Rangers’ final game of the season and they are hoping to go out strong with another win.
