Varsity B wrestling brings home multiple wins this weekend
The Varsity B wrestlers had an outstanding weekend, achieving many goals and coming out on top in multiple matches. On Friday night against Cedar Springs, the wrestlers were racking up points to help the team, as well as having some personal best performances.
Freshman Ash Anderson had his very first takedown with a snap down move, and sophomore Cole Kaminski also had a double leg takedown. Freshman Robby Frazier and junior Kyle Collar both pinned their opponents, accumulating even more points for the team. Other hard-fought battles came from senior Kendall Leach, junior Cam Roth, and sophomore Gavin Keeler.
On Saturday, the boys went to Godwin Heights for a meet against a variety of opponents including Byron Center, Grand Rapids Christian, and Grandville. The team did exceptionally well and is already looking forward to attending this tournament again next season.
