Freshman boys basketball falls to Ottawa Hills on Tuesday

Freshman boys basketball lost 72-55 to Ottawa Hills last night to end its long winning streak. Throughout the first half, the boys struggled to properly put their plays together. Despite this miscommunication, FHC was only down 31-30 going into the locker room after two.
The transition to defense was another problem throughout the entire game, being the worst in the third quarter. This, as well as the Ranger offense continuing to fall apart, led to only 5 points from FHC in the third.
Freshman Cam David managed to put up 15 points and freshman Jeremy James had 9 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Maguire Mahacek put in work on defense and offense, as well as having great vision on inbound passes to break Ottawa’s press.
The upcoming game for the freshman Rangerballers will be next Tuesday, as they take on Wyoming and look to add another win to their 6-3 record.
