What is your favorite part of skiing?

“My favorite part about ski team is the coaches and teammates. You become so close with all of the coaches and they are so fun and supportive. Ski team is a really laid back sport which I like. Since it is coed you can also talk to people that you wouldn’t normally talk to. I also just love skiing with others that enjoy it too and making memories.”

How long have you been skiing?

“I have been skiing since I was 8.”

What is your favorite ski race?

“My favorite race is slalom because it is more technical, and you can be aggressive.”

What are some of your personal goals for this season?

“One of my personal goals is to place top fifteen in slalom and giant slalom in the same race.”

What are some of your team goals for the season?

“One of our team goals is to win states as a team again.”

What is the hardest part about skiing?

“The hardest part about skiing is getting out of your head and just skiing for fun, and working on what you need to do to get better. Most people don’t realize how technical ski racing is. Anyone can go around gates but to be good, there is a lot more to it.”
