Offense and Teamwork lead Forest Hills Girls Lacrosse to 2-0-1 record at Birmingham Playdate

This past Saturday, Forest Hills girls Varsity Lacrosse went to Birmingham and had a series of games against some great competition. FH squared off against great teams like Cranbrook and Bloomfield, and they performed very well. The Girls finished with two wins and a tie in the series, as they look to carry this confidence into a showdown against Catholic Central on Monday.

In the first game, the girls took on Cranbrook and both teams came out to play. The final score totaled at eight for both sides. Both offense and defense had very strong games allowing only eight goals against a very strong offense. In the second game, FH took on Bloomfield and brought home the victory. The girls also pulled off a win in the last game of the series also.

Coming together as a team played a huge part in these games, offense and defense had very strong showings and the girls are starting to find their groove. The girls stand with a record of 3-1 on the season. With this solid series in the books, FH looks ahead to take on Catholic Central Monday night.
