On Monday night, Forest Hills varsity lacrosse took their second loss of the season to the Rockford Rams with a final score of 18-3. The key players for FH on the field Monday were FHE junior Erin Kloostra, FHN juniors Molly Mullet and Kay Zubkus, and FHE sophomore Cierra Davis. Forest Hills now shifts their attention to a big bounce-back game against Catholic Central Wednesday night.

FH fell behind early in the game 6-2 and were looking to mount a comeback and get their revenge on Rockford after last year’s state semifinal defeat. But the Rams began to pile it on starting in the second half, outscoring Forest Hills 12-1. Strangely, offense was a problem this game for FH, as it hasn’t been a problem for them in the past.

Forest Hills takes on Catholic Central at home Wednesday night at Ranger stadium. This will be very important for the team, as another loss would be costly especially with playoffs coming up. This is only the second loss on the season for FH, and they look to finish the season out strong with only a couple games remaining in regular play.
