Varsity boys lacrosse defeats Saint Viator 16-8
Over the weekend the Rangers boys varsity lacrosse team defeated Saint Viator 16-8. The win was earned once again by Central’s aggressive offense and strong defense. Seniors Bryce Clay and Tobey Hendricks and junior Luke Majick all scored 4 goals, while junior Tate Hallock had 1. Junior goalkeeper Jack Nolan had an exceptional game, only letting in half of the goals the Rangers scored against the Lions.
On defense junior Cam Deines and senior Andy Trapp played exceptionally, ensuring that the opponents’ offense stayed away from our goal for a majority of the game. Senior Kyle Basch was a key offensive component, creating many scoring opportunities in transition. Overall, they players felt it was another great team win for the Rangers. FHC’s next game is today at West Ottawa, and their next home game is on Thursday at 7pm.
