Boys varsity lacrosse defeats Vicksburg 25-12
Last night the FHC boys varsity lacrosse team took another win 25-12 against Vicksburg High School. Prior to the game the opposing team had a brief ceremony to honor a recently deceased player from their team and the game also had a 30 minute lightning delay, leading to a tough night for Vicksburg.
In the first half of the game the Rangers scored 16 goals to Vicksburg’s 4 goals. In the second half FHC scored 9 goals and Vicksburg scored 8 goals.
Junior Luke Majick was a key player on offense, and had a stellar goal from over 40 feet away. Along with Luke, senior Bryce Clay, junior Tate Hallock, and freshman Jackson Clay were integral to the success of the team. The Rangers’ starting lineup played until halftime and then a new batch of players were sent in to complete the second half of the game. Their next game is this Friday at Forest Hills Northern for the MHSAA State Quarterfinals at 6:30pm.
