Varsity volleyball falls to Northview 3-1
On Thursday night, varsity volleyball faced off against conference opponent Northview in the first home game of the season. While all the games were extremely close, the Rangers were able to secure only one win, losing the match 3-1. This puts the team 0-2 in conference play.
Every game was neck and neck with the highest point difference throughout the night being 6. In addition to this, there were multiple lead changes. The Rangers were defeated in sets one, two, and four losing by scores of 25-19, 26-24 and 25-22. They were able to take set three 25-21 to stall Northview’s momentum.
Still without a conference win, the Rangers face off against Cedar Springs at home and at Ottawa Hills next week.
