Varsity volleyball’s winning streak ends with 3-0 loss to Lowell
Varsity volleyball took on the Red Arrows of Lowell Tuesday night at Lowell. Freshman Sophia Shields led offense on the night with 9 kills. The Rangers were defeated 3-0 with scores of 26-24, 25-15 and 25-20. They play the rival Red Arrows once more this season on Thursday, October 18 at home.
Stand-out players on offense were Sophia and sophomore Hannah Bergman who had 16 assists throughout the game. Stand out players on defense were senior Katrina Bodkins with 4 blocks and senior Kate Ryan, sophomore Morghan Tilton, and Hannah who each had 7 digs.
This loss ends the team’s two-game winning streak and puts FHC at 2-3 in conference play. The Rangers face off against the Yellow Jackets of Greenville this coming Tuesday at home.
