Girls varsity golf takes third at Reeths Puffer Invite
Heading out to Muskegon today, the girls varsity golf team was able to earn third place in the 18-hole Reeths Puffer Invite. This outing was good preparation for the upcoming MHSAA Regionals, and with such a high placement the team is hopeful for a good outcome next Wednesday.
Junior Mandy Ehrlich led the team with an overall score of 84. Senior Kayley Reynolds and junior Ally Ringler followed right behind, as they both shot an 88 on the day. Seniors Haley Hamill and Kacie Rispler had quality outings as well, shooting 95 and 102, respectively. FHC was able to end with a final team score of 355.
The Lady Rangers have the FHN Ernie Popiel Memorial Tournament on Monday, which will be held at Egypt Valley. The golfers struggled with this course earlier in the season and will look to improve from last time.
