What was the best part about being a sophomore on varsity last season?
“Playing with all the seniors last year was cool. They were all great, and it was my favorite season [of playing basketball] by far. But losing in the first round of the playoffs was a horrible feeling.”
How much do you think having varsity experience will help you this season?
“It will definitely help a lot. It took some time last season to just get used to the overall speed of the varsity game; it is a lot faster than JV. So already having the one season under my belt is nice.”
What are some team goals for this season?
“Our number one goal is always to win the conference championship. We also have loftier goals, and we think we have a good team to be able to achieve those.”
What are some personal goals you have for the season?
“I have been working on my game and becoming a better overall player. I want to be all-conference this season, it’d be a huge honor and it is definitely a goal of mine.
What’s the best part about Rangerball?
“The family feeling. We are all family and when I play, I play with my brothers. It’s just such a great thing to be a part of and I’ve made so many friendships from it.”
