Where did you first fall in love with skiing?

“I have been skiing since I was really young, and my family and I would go up north every weekend. That is really where I fell in love with the sport, and it’s also great because I get to do it with my family.”

What opportunities has skiing given you?

“Skiing has taken me to so many wonderful places and has brought me so many memories. Some of the best memories I have from high school involve the ski team.”

Where is your favorite place to ski?

“I really enjoy skiing out west, especially in Winter Park, Colorado. My family has been going there during Thanksgiving for a few years, so a lot of the best memories have been made there, and a lot of my best skiing moments were there, too.”

Who is your biggest influence?

“My biggest influence is my dad. In the summer I would watch him water ski, and in the winter I would watch him snow ski when I was younger. I always wanted to keep up with him and be as good of a skier as him. He also showed me my love for skiing when I was a kid.”

What is it like to ski with your little sister?

“I especially enjoy having my little sister Abby on the team; it is one of my favorite parts. It is really fun to race together and be a family on and off the team.”

What are you especially looking forward to this season?

“I am really excited for this ski season [because] everyone on the team is healthy and skiing well. I’m also really excited to race in States this year because we have a really deep team.”
